Bowl season is well under way, though none of significance have been played. Baseball is in the hot stove season (Encarnacion to the Indians, cray!). College basketball is too early to pay attention to, and the NFL is pretty well set in the top 3-4 spots in each league. That means you should have some free time over the next couple of weeks (especially with most people taking the holiday week off). That leaves time to do one of three things: booze, binge watch TV, volunteer to help the less fortunate.
"But Tonyonball, I work hard all year and it's nice to have a week to sit on the couch, gain 10 pounds, and pretend I'm enjoying time with my family. Why the buzz kill?" -Average Joe Reader
Understood, everyone needs time to relax and recharge. However, in this time of giving consider donating either a few bucks (tax write off if that's something you're looking for) OR donating your time (soup kitchen, bell ringing, etc.). Consider the best charity in St. Louis (in Tonyonball's opinion) for said activities or monetary donations:

If you choose to donate, Tonyonball will send you some sweet merch (an official Tonyonball.com stressball). Please send your address to the following:
Tony.M@MidwestCSLLC.com
No need to specify the amount or duration of the donation, every little bit helps, and just like a good batch of meth, it's very addiciting, so Tonyonball is sure once you try some volunteer work, you'll be back. Please note, Tonyonball is not suggesting you have never volunteered before, just nudging you in the right direction. Wake up an hour earlier, skip an episode of some guilty pleasure TV show you really don't need to watch (Snapped), or skip Tonyonball's next article (most of you are already doing that on the reg).
Tonyonball will be back with a more regular article full of complaints and fake sports facts early next week. Yay Christmas vacation!
