COLLEGE FOOTBALL - WEEK 5
Coming up on halfway through the College Football season and TOB has watched less than ever. Fear not, that will not stop TOB from creating false narratives and supporting shaky opinions. Turns out if you have $144/year, you can voice your opinion on a website no matter what your qualifications are. With that in mind, on to week 5! But first, as a world renowned dog lover, TOB was surprised this has gone on for years without TOB having any knowledge of it.

Some teams/players/situations of note:
Miami: Wait, Mark Reicht can coach? Think he is still interested in that Mizzou job? They appear to be the biggest threat to Clemson this year. FSU is choking on it.
Washington State: Mike Leech is still a creep, but that guy can coach. Took down USC last night, may be the front runner out of the Pac-12 along with Utah.
Alabama: Popular opinion alert, the SEC is DOWN this year. Alabama should run through it without breaking a sweat. Could be a good thing to be fresh for the playoff, but it would be nice to see them tested a time or two before meeting Clemson again.
Notre Dame: Blowing out crap teams, and that one point loss to Georgia is looking pretty forgivable at this point. Still a few tough games left, but with any luck, the Irish will go 10-2 and lose in a bowl game to a top tier Big 10 team (Penn State).
USC: Perhaps sneaking by Texas in OT wasn’t a fluke. Sam Darnold is 11 months away from quarterbacking your New York Jets! Maybe he should stay one more year…
Now for the segment that Vegas is trying to get TOB to stop running, Tony and Cheech make picks sure to go wrong!

Houston (-6) over TX Tech, because my brother lives there. - LOSS
Florida State (-12) over NC State. Seminoles haven't played since the Week 1 loss to 'Bama. Wolfpack are coming off back to back wins over nobodies. What does this mean? I don't know but I think the 'Pack keeps it close for 2 and a half quarters but loose by 2 touchdowns in the end. - LOSS
Eastern Michigan (-2.5) over Ohio. Are you True EMU? I am! - LOSS
Looks like I'm picking a lot of home favorites this week, even though everybody knows Week 4 is Upset Week
Alabama (-18.5) over Vandy. Vandy es no bueno. - WIN
Central Michigan (-1.5) over Miami, OH - LOSS
TOB (4-11) – Well, trending in the right direction I suppose…
Texas A&M +2.5 over Arkansas. TOB likes Arkansas in this one, time to go full Costanza this week! - WIN
CAL +17 over USC. Again, TOB thinks USC should bounce back after a close win over Texas. Go Bears! - WIN
OKST -13 over TCU. Mike Gundy is a MAN! - LOSS
Mississippi State -4 over Georgia. Georgia snuck by ND the last weekend TOB watched CFB, that’s not a good sign. MSU beat down LSU, which may not be that impressive this year but it was still quite a win. - LOSS
IOWA +11.5 over Penn State. TOB hasn’t watched a single snap of the Nittany Lions, because, well, Big 10. IOWA is like the Wisconsin of the Big 10, they always hang around despite not really having any sort of recruitment advantage. What’s that, Wisconsin is in the Big 10 too? TOB prefers a good narrative to facts. - WIN
This Week’s Picks
Cheech:
No picks this week, Cheech is running skurred.
TOB:
Minnesota (-13.5) over Maryland. Gotta love the classic Big 10 matchup of the Gophers and the Turtles.
Wisconsin (-16) over Northwestern. Badgers continue to roll. Northwestern…well, I’m sure their academics are going well.
Mississippi State (+8) over Auburn. Auburn…overrated. Last week was a fluke for Mississippi State, the cows will bounce back. They’re cows right? If not, they should be.
Clemson (-7.5) over Virginia Tech. This line should be about 15, it’s this low because it’s a prime time game and College Gameday is on site. Could be a 20 point game.
Ole Miss (+28.5) over Alabama. Ole Miss plays Bama tough (beaten them twice in the last four years). No way the Elephants run by the rebels by four touchdowns. Book it.
Bonus games to keep an eye on:
UNC/Georgia Tech – TOB has interest in this game because UNC plays Notre Dame next week. Come on Tar Heels!
Georgia/Tennessee – The SEC is dying to have Georgia play Alabama in the title game. Either way SEC title game is going to be a wash
Notre Dame/Miami (OH) – TOB enjoys that Notre Dame plays the University of Miami and Miami (OH) in the same year. Go IRISH!
