Bulls In the Running

The Raging Bulls are wrapping up the regular season at the FOY fields in Cahokia, IL and preparing for the playoffs.  While injury ravaged, the bulls have strung together a couple of good weeks no thanks to Fro who can’t seem to make a game due to dogs birthday parties and cosmetic surgeries.  The hated Red Sox are leading the league with the Cardinals clinging to the 2nd spot in the six team playoff tournament.  If the Bulls win out and the Cardinals lose one more game, the Bulls will gain the all too valuable 2nd bye (these facts brought to you by Lincoln Nelson, Bulls GM who may or may not have been speaking english).  Coach Jeremy Faust believes the Bulls have a chance so long as no one attempts to bunt ever again and 1st baseman/DH Dan Wolberg remains drunk for the next 3 weeks.  Ryan “Wait, What?” Willis continues to battle the toughest competition and will likely be the biggest factor in the Bulls finishing the season with a win in the last game against the Red Sox on September 1st at 7:30 pm (check your local listing for programming information.  Just kidding, it’s not on TV, or the radio, or online, I’m not even sure there will be proof the game was played other than my 56 mosquito bites).

Will the Bulls enter the playoffs as a downtrodden wild card underdog, or a downtrodden 2 seed with a bye?  Stay tuned!
